MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) – Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei accepted the copy of credentials from Iran's Ambassador to Belarus Saeid Yari, BelTA learned form the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The diplomats discussed the main issues on the bilateral agenda, highliting significant prospects for the development of cooperation in many areas.
The minister congratulated the Iranian ambassador on his appointment and expressed the hope for further strengthening and expansion of friendly relations between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added.
