CIS states discuss cooperation in UN General Assembly

MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Ministerial consultations of the CIS member states on the agenda of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly took place as a video conference on 4 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

Attending the meeting were representatives of Azerbaijan (as an observer), Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and the CIS Executive Committee.

Representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs of the CIS member states discussed cooperation and priorities of the CIS states during the 75th session of the UN General Assembly and also the work of the General Assembly to implement the agenda for sustainable development through 2030.

The meeting participants also talked over the elections to the UN bodies.
