MINSK, 27 August (BelTA) – Member of the House of Representatives, leader of the Liberal and Democratic Party of Belarus Oleg Gaidukevich said in an interview to ONT TV channel that the parliament needs to call an extraordinary session to discuss the situation in the country, BelTA has learned.

“I am convinced that the parliament should play a bigger role in this situation. My position is that we should hold an extraordinary session and discuss it,” Oleg Gaidukevich said.

According to him, it is also possible to set up a special commission in the parliament to study all the events that have been taking place in the country. “People are waiting. We have to give answers to their questions,” stressed the MP.
