Belarusian FM holds talks with Bulgarian president in Sofia

MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei held talks with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev on 5 February, BelTA learned from the Twitter account of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in that country.

“Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev are discussing the sustainable development of Belarus and Bulgaria through dialogue, security and stability of our common European continent,” the embassy said.

As it has been reported, the Belarusian minister of foreign affairs is in Bulgaria on the first official visit in the history of bilateral relations. Vladimir Makei also met with Chairperson of the Bulgarian National Assembly Tsveta Karayancheva. The focus was on contacts between the parliaments of the two countries, cooperation in parliamentary organizations.
