MINSK, 20 August (BelTA) – Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei had a telephone conversation with U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale at the initiative of the U.S. side, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed the post-election situation in Belarus and exchanged views on the prospects for future bilateral cooperation,” the press service noted.
According to it, Vladimir Makei thanked the U.S. representative for the unwavering support for the sovereignty and independence of Belarus.
