Belarus prime minister congratulates Russian counterpart on 75th anniversary of Victory

MINSK, 9 May (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Rumas has sent a congratulatory telegram to Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the press service of the Belarusian government told BelTA.

The telegram reads: “For Belarusians and Russians this holiday will always remain a symbol of indestructible human spirit and unconditional love for the Motherland. Millions died to achieve the Great Victory. The Victory makes us unbeatable in the face of any challenges.”

Sergei Rumas said he was confident that the memory about the heroic deed of the Belarusian and Russian peoples will become a guarantee of the worthy continuation of traditions of Belarusian-Russian friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation in the name of prosperity and wellbeing of the two countries.
