MINSK, 5 August (BelTA) - Belarus and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) confirm their commitment to intensifying the cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Indonesia, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the ASEAN Valery Kolesnik held a video conferencing with ASEAN Deputy Secretary General for Political and Security Affairs Hoang Anh Tuan,” the press service informed.
The parties discussed the topical issues of interaction between Belarus and ASEAN. During the meeting, the Belarusian ambassador congratulated the deputy secretary general on the upcoming 53rd ASEAN Day.
