The agricultural enterprise Rassvet named after K.P. Orlovsky has started planting watermelons in open ground. Plans are in place to plant five hectares to watermelon (30,000 seedlings). The enterprise has chosen a variety that yields up to 100 centners per hectare.
The enterprise expects to start harvesting watermelons in August.
