Kindergarten No.5 in the city of Petrikov opened on 30 June after a major overhaul.
During the opening ceremony, Gomel Oblast Governor Gennady Solovei noted that Belarus has a good tradition to commission various facilities in the run-up to Independence Day on 3 July. It is also symbolic that Petrikov was liberated from the Nazi invaders on 30 June.
