Lost medal returned to frontline soldier's great grandson

The frontline soldier's great grandson was returned the lost medal “For Bravery”. The ceremony to hand over the award took place at the museum of the military enlistment office of Grodno Oblast on 5 May.

The medal was found in Dyatlovo District. It was found out that the owner of the medal was war veteran Nikolai Mankevich, a native of Grodno Oblast, who died in the early 1990s. The medal was returned to his great grandson Pavel Ivuts.
