A rally dedicated to Independence Day and the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders was held in Gomel. The event at the Eternal Fire in Truda Square brought together veterans of the Great Patriotic War and labor veterans, former partisans and underground fighters, workers of the workers of the rear, the regional and city authorities, members of the Council of the Republic and the House of Representatives, honorary citizens, representatives of labor collectives, military units, public organizations, and youth.
