This year, birch sap collection in Belarus started several weeks earlier than usual thanks to the abnormally warm weather. The Starobin forestry enterprise (Minsk Oblast) annually harvests around 200 tonnes of birch sap. As of 17 March, the enterprise already supplied 36 tonnes.
