The number one goal for the industry is to increase its contribution to GDP, delegate of the 5th Belarusian People's Congress, Director of Motovelozavod Company Nikolai Ladutko told BelTA.
In his words, industry is the basis of gross domestic product (GDP) in Belarus. Nikolai Ladutko explained: “It is a multiform processing industry, not only mechanical engineering. It has not given away its first place in the country's GDP. Today's number one goal is to increase its share.”
The Motovelozavod Director also shared his impressions from the participation in the Minsk dialogue of generations Flowers of the Great Victory. During the forum he spoke with young people who work at Minsk companies. According to Nikolai Ladutko, the youth see the need in further development and modernization. “They want their companies to produce goods competitive on foreign markets. They understand that exports are the key to the viability of every enterprise,” the MP said.
