The main task of all the mass media is to reflect the reality with all the problems, difficulties, and contradictions. Belarusian Information Minister Aleksandr Karlyukevich made the relevant statement before the seminar on new formats and the competitive ability of regional mass media in the digital age began on 11 December, BelTA has learned.
It is what all the mass media should do regardless of their format. “The main task of mass media is to reflect the present day that we see with all the difficulties and problems. Participants of the media process need to understand that information should be presented truthfully and in a manner that will allow changing the situation for the better later on,” Aleksandr Karlyukevich noted.
