Participants of the third Belarus-Russia Forum of Regions showed eagerness to strengthen cooperation, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov told a press conference on 9 June.
“The political outcome of the forum is clear. Russia and Belarus demonstrated eagerness to further strengthen ties and boost integration processes,” Alexander Surikov said. The diplomat noted that the visit of Russia President Vladimir Putin was a signal to the Belarusian nation that Russia will continue to support its brotherly country.
“The delegations discussed further course of action and agreed that it is necessary to strengthen economic cooperation and boost integration processes,” Alexander Surikov added.
