All international competitions in Belarus are organized in the best possible way, four-time Olympic biathlon champion Alexander Tikhonov told BelTA as he attended the ISU European Figure Skating Championship in Minsk on 26 January.
“I think Belarus is the best host of international competitions. I talked to athletes and coaches who came here for the championships and they were all happy with how everything was organized. Catering, hotels... Everything was top-notch,” Alexander Tikhonov said and welcomed great support of the Belarusian audience.
According to Alexander Tikhonov, Belarus is a good venue for competitions. “Athletes will come here for tournaments in any kind of sport. Belarus will host the 2019 IBU Open European Championships in February, the European Games in the summer. That says a lot,” Alexander Tikhonov added.
