Theaters staged 1,105 plays, including:
166 new productions
350 Belarusian plays
453 children's performances
The overall attendance exceeded 1.7 million people
The most attended theaters:
National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater – 254,300 visits
Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater – 135,600
Gomel Oblast Drama Theater – 95,000
Yanka Kupala National Academic Theater – 94,800
Grodno Oblast Puppet Theater – 90,600
Dunin-Martinkevich Mogilev Oblast Drama and Comedy Theater in Bobruisk – 74,100.
Belarusian theater companies went on more than 2,600 tours around the country and 303 tours abroad.
