Belarus has climbed up to the 23rd place globally for fixed-broadband subscriptions per 100 inhabitants. The report by the ITU/UNESCO Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development describes the situation in 191 countries in 2015:

According to the report, there were 3.2 billion Internet users in the world in 2015. By the end of 2016, 3.5 billion people will be connected to the Internet, or 47% of the world population.
