Minsk Oblast

The largest region in Belarus, located in the central part of the country.

It borders on all regions of the country.

It consists of 22 districts.

Population – 1,432,400 (as of 1 October 2019), nominal average salary – Br1,083.8 (January-October 2019).

Administrative center - Minsk, with a population of 1,992,700.

Area – 4,019,600 hectares, agricultural land – 1,842,000 hectares, including 1,349,800 hectares of arable land

Major industries: engineering, metallurgy, chemicals, footwear, clothing, furniture, agriculture, food and beverages, tourism.
