In January-July 2017 the Gross Domestic Product was Br66.2 billion (101.6% as against 2016) and increased in four out of six regions.
The contribution of the major industries to the GDP:
agriculture, forestry, fishery – Br3,897.9 million (+3.7%*);
mining industry – Br519.9 million (+3.6%);
processing industry – Br14,052.4 million (+6.6%);
supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and artificial air – Br2,868.2 million (+5.3%);
water supply; collection, treatment and disposal of waste, clean-up – Br517.6 million (-0.8%);
construction – Br3,237.6 million (-7.7%);
wholesale and retail sale; repair of cars and motorcycles – Br6, 599.1 million (+1.8%);
transport, postal and courier services, warehousing - Br3,816.5 million (+5.4%);
net commodity taxes - Br9,222.4 million (+3%).
