Foreign investments in Belarus in H1 2017

Foreign investments into the Belarusian economy in H1 2017 — $4.9 billion*.

Main investors:

Russian Federation — 39.6% of the total investments,

United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland — 28.3%,

Cyprus — 7.4%.

Foreign direct investments accounted for 83.1% of the investments Belarus received.

Belarus' investments abroad in H1 2017 — $2.6 billion*.

The bulk of the investments went into:

Russian Federation — 65.7% of the total outbound investments,

Ukraine — 17.1%,

United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland — 8%.

Foreign direct investments accounted for 93.7% of the total outbound investments.

*Except for banks.
