Over 30 countries will be represented during the eighth Belarusian defense technology expo MILEX 2017, which will take place in Minsk* on 20-22 May. Companies from Germany, Slovakia, and Poland will take part in the expo for the first time.
Enterprises run by the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus will showcase for the first time about 90 samples of weaponry, military and special hardware. Including:
Armored personnel carriers Cayman and MZKT 490 100 (V-1),
Modernized tank T-72BME,
Unmanned aerial vehicle fighting system Groza-R.
Belarus exported nearly $1 billion worth of defense technology products in 2016.
A scientific conference on military and technical problems, defense and security problems, and dual-use technologies will take place during the expo.
*The expo will be held in the Minsk One airport (38/1 Chkalova Street) and Minsk Arena (111 Pobeditelei Avenue).
