On 18 September 2017 Belarus and Kazakhstan celebrated the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. In January-September 2017 Belarus-Kazakhstan trade rose by 64.8% from the same period of last year. Kazakhstan is Belarus' 11th largest trade partner.
