Belarus-Kazakhstan trade and economic cooperation

On 18 September 2017 Belarus and Kazakhstan celebrated the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. In January-September 2017 Belarus-Kazakhstan trade rose by 64.8% from the same period of last year. Kazakhstan is Belarus' 11th largest trade partner.

Trade (in million USD):

2007 - $513.1m;

2008 - $537m;

2009 - $388.3m;

2010 - $870.6m;

2011 - $811m;

2012 - $925.9m;

2013 - $952.8m;

2014 - $966.8m;

2015 - $574.5m;

2016 - $419.3m;

2017 (January-September) - $485.9m.

Belarus sells to Kazakhstan: tractors, dairy products, agricultural machines, trucks, furniture.

Kazakhstan sells to Belarus: coal, oil, gas, and oil products, cars, medications, cotton.
