Belarus in the 2017 Global ICT Development Index

Belarus is ranked 32nd in the 2017 Global ICT Development Index according to the latest Measuring Information Society report, which evaluates ICT development in the ITU member states.

Estonia – 17th position (3 positions down from 2016);

Belarus – 32nd position (no change):

ICT access subindex — 34th position,

ICT use subindex — 40th position,

human potential development subindex — 5th position;

Latvia — 35th position (5 positions up);

Lithuania – 41st position (no change);

Russia — 45th position (5 positions down);

Poland — 49th position (1 position up);

Kazakhstan — 52nd position (1 position down);

Georgia — 74th position (1 position down);

Ukraine — 79th position (1 position down).

The top 5 countries in ICT development include Iceland, the Republic of Korea, Switzerland, Denmark, and the UK.
