Belarus ranks 21st in the Integrated Index for Postal Development that compares postal organizations from 172 countries.
In the previous report, Belarus ranked 32nd out of 173 countries.
The ranking of the countries:
1st - Switzerland
2nd - Netherlands
3rd - Germany
11th - Poland
16th - Russia
20th - Slovakia
21st - Belarus
22nd - Moldova
30th - Lithuania
37th - Ukraine
55th - Latvia.
The study is carried out by the Universal Postal Union (UPU).
The Universal Postal Union ranks the postal services based on four main components - reliability, reach, relevance and resilience.
In Belarus Belpochta has the status of a designated operator for international postal services in accordance with the Universal Postal Union acts, which allows exchanging mail with 192 countries and territories.
