According to the opinion poll conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VtsIOM), Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is the most popular CIS leader with the 65% approval rating in Russia.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev - 6%

Emomali Rahmon- 3%
Petro Poroshenko – 1%.
The Russians also called Belarus the most successful and most stable country in the CIS:

The results of the poll suggest that Belarus is the most reliable CIS partner of Russia in the international arena. The Russians also believe that the interests of the Russian-speaking population in the CIS are best protected in Belarus.
VtsIOM carried out the opinion poll by telephone on 8 November 2018. The survey involved 1,600 people.
