2017 Belarus' Social and Economic Development Goals

Belarus President signed the decree on the targets of the social and economic development of the Republic of Belarus in 2017. The main target is to increase the national competitiveness.

Main indicators:

GDP - 101.7%*

Labor productivity - 101.8%*

Wage - 101.5%

Real Disposable Incomes -101.3%

Inflation - 9%

Foreign Direct Investment - $1.4 billion

Export of Goods and Services - 103.8%.

The head of state also approved the main monetary policy guidelines for 2017. It will contribute to the sustainable and balanced development of the economy of Belarus by maintaining price stability.

* As against 2016.

* The productivity growth is expected to exceed the growth of real wages and real disposable income of the population.
