VITEBSK, 9 May (BelTA) – Vitebsk residents marked Victory Day by laying flowers and wreaths at the memorial complex in honor of Soviet soldiers, partisans and underground resistance fighters of Vitebsk Oblast. Vitebsk Oblast Governor Nikolai Sherstnev, Aide to the President – Inspector for Vitebsk Oblast Anatoly Linevich, Chairman of the Vitebsk Oblast Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev, and other people took part in the ceremony.
