Old Castle in Grodno under restoration

MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) – The project to restore Old Castle, one of the oldest castles in Belarus, began in 2017 and is being carried out according to Vladimir Bachkov's project. Grodno is planning toreturn the 16th-century castle to its former splendour of Stephen Bathory's time.

A group of Polish specialists is getting familiar with the progress in the project. They have arrived as part of the agreements reached earlier by the Belarusian-Polish advisory commission on the historical and cultural heritage.
