Brest hosted festivities to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the city's liberation from the Nazis. A flower ceremony took place at the Brest Hero Fortress memorial. Attending the ceremony were representatives of the city and oblast authorities, veteran and public organizations, labor collectives, consulates and others.
