A meeting to mark the 31st anniversary of the withdrawal of the Soviet troops from Afghanistan took place at the Park of Peacekeeping Soldiers in Brest on 15 February. Paying tribute were Afghan war veterans, mothers and wives of the soldiers killed in the Afghan war, the city authorities and servicemen.
