MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) – Personal protective equipment is sewn by 70 private companies in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk City Council.

In early April the municipal authorities addressed the business community asking them to help boost supplies of protective gear. Seventy businesses responded immediately and got down to producing medical supplies to combat COVID-19. Every day they make about 330,000 face masks, 25,000 pairs of gloves, and 2,500 medical overalls.

The Minsk City Council thanks these businesses and their teams for cooperation.
