China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone joins free trade and innovation alliance

MINSK, 1 September (BelTA) – The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone has joined a free trade and innovation alliance, BelTA learned from the park.

“China's domestic free trade zones and some key foreign special economic areas have initiated the establishment of a free trade and innovation alliance in Shenzhen. The alliance pledged to build a community of common responsibilities in response to the global and regional campaigns and initiatives such as the “Belt and Road Initiative,” the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,” and the “Agenda 2063 – The Africa we want.”

The alliance includes 47 China's domestic free trade zones. “The Great Stone joined the alliance as one of foreign special economic areas. Other alliance members include Nigeria's Lekki Free Trade Zone, the Cambodian Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, the Djibouti International Free Trade Zone in East Africa, the Sri Lankan Hambantota Port Industrial Park, the Ethiopian Eastern Industry Zone, Thailand's Thai-Chinese Rayong Industrial Zone, Egypt's China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone, and others.
