MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) - Personal protection equipment purchased for the money raised by the Development Bank employees were donated to Baranovichi Maternity Hospital. This hospital was partially re-purposed for COVID-19 patients, BelTA learned from the press service of the Development Bank.
The fundraiser was organized by the Development Bank's trade union organization. Among the purchased items are respirators, caps and also suits made by a company employing people with disabilities.
Earlier the Development Bank had provided financial support to the National Center for Medical Response to purchase pharmaceuticals, healthcare products, medical equipment, personal protection equipment and disinfectants for healthcare institutions.
As part of the program of financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises the Bank has offered a new instrument “Support for manufacturers of medical protective equipment and medical technical equipment amid COVID-19”.
