MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – Systemic elimination of competition is the true goal of the West, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he spoke at the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council summit held via video conference on 10 December, BelTA has learned.
"One thing is clear: the true goal of the West is the systemic elimination of competition. This situation clearly demonstrated that we have no friends there," the head of state emphasized.
The president urged the EAEU countries to rely on their own strength only and to promote import substitution. "We can provide ourselves with everything we need," the head of state said.
