Relocation of industrial enterprises from Minsk's center to continue

MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – The relocation of industrial enterprises from the center of Minsk will continue. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement as he met with top officials and executives of the city of Minsk on 7 July, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that it is necessary to effectively use state property in Minsk. In particular, old manufacturing sites, which can be repurposed or can be used to start environmentally friendly manufacturing. “Some have even started building restaurants in those locations,” the head of state noted.

“By all means. We are going to build what the city needs. But we will continue removing enterprises from the center of the city. Particularly those with foundries and things like that,” Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
