Presidents of Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan to meet in Minsk

MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – The presidents of Belarus, Russia and Tajikistan plan to hold joint talks in Minsk, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon on 28 June, BelTA has learned.

“There are a lot of issues we can discuss today. I think Vladimir Putin will join these talks. We can hold a joint meeting. I believe you will not be against it. We have matters for discussion within the CIS and the CSTO, our defense union,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

As BelTA reported earlier, Emomali Rahmon is expected to attend the closing ceremony of the 2nd European Games at Dinamo Stadium on 30 June. Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Minsk too.
