People responsible for poor state of Belarusian agricultural company Kupalovskoye ordered fired

SHKLOV DISTRICT, 26 March (BelTA) – All the people responsible for the poor business environment and improper labor discipline in the agricultural holding company Kupalovskoye must be dismissed. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko gave the relevant instructions as he visited Mogilev Oblast on 26 March, BelTA has learned.

Alexander Lukashenko visited the dairy complex Slizhi run by the company OAO Amkodor-Shklov. He was informed about the development of the country's dairy industry, economic performance of the enterprise and the agricultural holding company Kupalovskoye as a whole. After that the head of state decided to personally get familiar with how cattle are kept and with the state of the premises.

After going through several cow houses the head of state was extremely dissatisfied with the conditions the animals have to endure. The head of state said he wanted people responsible for it found and the enterprise's operation straightened out. “If the person doesn't understand that it is a complete mess yet you put him in charge of the holding company [OOO Kupalovskoye], I don't understand you at all,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

Alexander Lukashenko decided to visit other business sites as well. In the vehicle depot the president saw lack of order and mistreatment of resources although the head of the agricultural holding company had checked the site the day before and “order had been restored”.

The vehicle depot improperly stores broken machines, which have not been repaired for several years already. The yard is littered with waste metal and old parts. The hangars are full of broken equipment. It turned out that some of the vehicles and machines were bought not so long ago, however, they have not been used and they fell into disrepair with time. “A genuine graveyard, including inside and outside,” Alexander Lukashenko stated.

Alexander Lukashenko gave instructions to fire people responsible for the poor business environment and improper labor discipline in the agricultural holding company Kupalovskoye. Instructions were also given to open criminal proceedings. “I want a list of all the people, who've been accompanying me here. Apart from the oblast governor and the rest there were specific people, who are responsible for it,” the head of state said.

Chairman of the Shklov District Executive Committee Vasily Vityunov has been put in charge of the agricultural holding company Kupalovskoye. The Belarus president's aide for Mogilev Oblast Gennady Lavrenkov has been appointed acting head of the district administration. Mogilev Oblast First Deputy Governor Nikolai Korotin will be in charge of the oblast for now.

Alexander Lukashenko instructed the Belarus President Administration to promptly submit proposals on filling other administrative positions.
