Order of Mother conferred on 85 women from Minsk Oblast

MINSK, 15 November (BelTA) – The Order of Mother has been conferred on 85 women from Minsk Oblast for giving birth to and bringing up five and more children. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a corresponding decree on 15 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The award was bestowed upon women from all walks of life, including women working at manufacturing enterprises, in the agricultural sector, construction and transportation, trade, education, healthcare and culture, social security, the Armed Forces and homemakers.

Among them are teacher assistant at Pleshchenitsy Kindergarten-Nursery No. 1 Tatyana Voinich, house painter from Molodechno Marina Zanko, janitor at Minsk Cancer Center Zinaida Kamandiga, engineer from Borisovkhlebprom Inna Mitskevich, milking machine operator at the Nesvizh Islands company Yulia Neverko, housekeeper from Budslav (Myadel District) Natalia Petrova, fare inspector from Borisov Alena Urbanovich.
