MINSK, 27 December (BelTA) - The Order of Mother has been conferred on 30 women from Brest Oblast and Grodno Oblast for giving birth to and bringing up five and more children. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has signed a corresponding decree, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The award was conferred on women from all walks of life, including women working in the manufacturing industry, agribusiness, social services, culture and education, healthcare and trade, housekeepers.
Among them is salesperson from Drogichin Nina Osipuk, head of the preventive medicine department of Lyakhovichi Central District Hospital Svetlana Grishkevich, crop grower from Grodno District Yelena Lapina, social worker from Oshmyany District Tatyana Rapetskaya.
