MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No.23 to award the Order of Mother, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
The award for giving birth to and raising five and more children has been bestowed upon women from all walks of life, including employees of manufacturing enterprises, the agricultural sector, trade, education, healthcare, communications, social services, and culture as well as homemakers.
Among them are teacher at Voropayevo Secondary School of Postavy District Tatyana Nosevich, semi-automatic lathe operator at Gomel Plant of Casting and Normals Natalya Kovalyova, merchandising specialist at the Shchuchin branch of the Grodno Oblast Consumer Association Olga Artish, sorter of wood materials and products at Shklov Newsprint Mill Olga Chichova, cattle breeder at the Vostok-Agro agricultural enterprise in Molodechno District Anna Bondar, and nurse at Logoisk District Central Hospital Svetlana Pavlovskaya.
All in all, 114 women from Vitebsk Oblast, Gomel Oblast, Grodno Oblast, Mogilev Oblast, and Minsk Oblast have been honored with the Order of Mother.
