MINSK, 12 August (BelTA) – Nicaragua's President Daniel Ortega and Vice-President Rosario Murillo have sent a congratulatory message to Aleksandr Lukashenko. On behalf of Nicaraguan people and the government, they congratulated Aleksandr Lukashenko on his re-election as Belarus president, BelTA has learned.
“Please, accept our warmest regards and congratulations. Being fully aware of the importance of this victory that reflects the sovereign will of your people, we will keep cooperating to promote security, stability, peace, development and prosperity. We wish you success in your plans, projects and goals to improve the living standards of Belarusian people. We reaffirm our commitment to friendship, solidarity and brotherly cooperation in all the areas and at all international platforms where we have a shared vision of the world that strives towards an open dialogue, harmony, respect for the rights and social justice, peace and progress,” the message reads.
