New deputy head of Belarus President Property Management Directorate appointed

MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has appointed Andrei Sviridov deputy head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate, BelTA has learned.

Alexander Lukashenko told Andrei Sviridov that the Belarus President Property Management Directorate is an agency with multiple business ventures and interests, which enterprises and organizations take care of various areas of work. “Together with the head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate you will have to do a huge amount of work. I want iron discipline and results. If you are told to make skis, go ahead and do it, you have the enterprise for it. If you are told to dig soil, you will have to dig it and grow cereals. I understand that you deal with everything ranging from milk, cows to tourism,” the head of state said.

“We once gathered up troubled enterprises from all over the country and you have to work with them,” Alexander Lukashenko said. “Discipline and responsibility are what matters.”

The president also noted: “Tighten the screws properly and act.”
