Lukashenko: We will not drop to our knees even if we are left alone

MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) – Belarus will not fall to its knees even if it left alone, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he addressed the women's forum For Belarus in Minsk on 17 September, BelTA has learned.

“Believe me, the situation is very complicated and I do not want to make it worse. We are men and we will fix this problem,” the Belarusian leader assured.

Addressing the girls and women Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “You will return home. Tell people at home, in every little village, in every big city and small town what is really happening. These days, the future of Belarus, Russia, maybe, entire Europe, not only Eastern Europe, is determined here. We should not let it spiral into a war,” the Belarusian leader said.

“I have just said that they are running out of nearly all the tools. We are at the brink of a terrible catastrophe. If they rush here, we will have to respond. We will not drop to our knees, even if we are left alone,” the head of state said.
