BELYNICHI DISTRICT, 10 July (BelTA) - The Belynichi District authorities should come to grips with development issues of the district as soon as possible, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he toured the district on 10 July, BelTA has learned.
“We have made an arrangement about Belynichi District: everything should be done by 2020. No mammoth aid will be provided,” Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
The head of state noted that social and economic indicators of the district have deteriorated. He harshly criticized the work of the local and regional authorities, as well as government members responsible for this district.
The president believes that Belynichi District should model itself on the Rodina collective farm which success story is attributed to innovative solutions and effective management. In this regard, Alexander Lukashenko asked head of the collective farm Alexander Lapotentov who has been in charge of the enterprise for over 35 years to share his expertise and knowledge with the chairman of the district executive committee.
“We will lend a helping hand, however you should not expect huge investments. We have a lot of things to invest in, we need to see good prospects,” the head of state said.More about President
