NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
BARANOVICHI, 1 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is set to visit the Baranovichi State Vocational and Technical College of Service Industry on 1 September, Knowledge Day, BelTA has learned.
The president will attend an official back-to-school ceremony and get familiar with the organization of the educational process at the facility.
The Baranovichi State Vocational and Technical College of Service Industry was established in 1964. The educational institution trains sewers, tailors, shapers, insurance agents, salespeople, cashiers, hairdressers, shoe collectors, and designers.
Today there are 127 institutions of vocational education and 111 institutions of secondary special education in Belarus. In the 2019-2020 academic year, they trained some 179,000 specialists.
