MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko will visit Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky on 21 August, BelTA has learned.
The head of state will be briefed on the completion of the harvesting campaign, the operation of the enterprise and its development prospects. The president will tour several workshops and inspect production processes there. Aleksandr Lukashenko is also expected to meet with the employees of the agricultural enterprise.
Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky was founded in 2004 following the reorganization Dzerzhinsk Poultry Factory. Today the enterprise includes a poultry factory with production facilities in Krupskoye and Minsk District, agricultural affiliated farms Pyatigorye, Pravda-Agro, Falko-Agro, Broiler, Negorelsky, and a brand network Fabrika Zdorovya uniting over 70 facilities.
The agricultural enterprise produces and processes poultry, eggs, milk, meat, grain and leguminous crops, rape, corn, feed compounds and fodder additives. The company is also involved in fishing, retail and wholesale trade in poultry and meat products.
In January-July 2020, the gross agricultural output of the enterprise increased by 4.8% over the same period of 2019. The export of Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky exceeded $20 million (up 14%) over the same period of the previous year. The company's proceeds went up 8.4% to Br180.8 million over the same period of 2019.
Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky has more than 4,000 employees. The average salary exceeds Br1,130.
