Lukashenko to hold talks with Azerbaijan president 19 November

MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev on 19 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The heads of state will discuss the current state of affairs and prospects of developing relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan, share opinions on international issues. The talks will focus on the trade, economic and investment cooperation, joint projects. The presidents will also discuss the prospects of interaction in transport and logistics, healthcare, education, information and communication technologies, sport, tourism and other fields,” the press release of the press service reads.

The heads of state will hold one-on-one and extended negotiations at the Palace of Independence. After the talks the sides are expected to sign a number of international documents.
