Lukashenko to attend CSTO summit on 2 December

MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will attend a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on 2 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.

The meeting of the leaders of the CSTO member states will be held via a video link. The Belarusian head of state will make a speech to assess the state of international security and voice Belarus' initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the organization.

The leaders of the CSTO countries will review the situation in the CSTO region and in the world as a whole, the status of implementation of the agreements, new challenges and threats, the inter-parliamentary cooperation and the priorities of the CSTO.
